Quiche is one of those dishes with lots of flexibility, both in terms of ingredients that can be used and in the types of meals with which it can be served.
As defined by Wikipedia, Quiche is “a French tart consisting of pastry crust filled with savoury custard and pieces of cheese, meat, seafood or vegetables.”
Quiche can be included on the menu of any meal and can be served hot or cold. There is no doubt that this one of the reasons why Quiche is a very popular dish and is enjoyed in various forms all around the world. The best-known variant is “Quiche Lorraine,” which includes lardons — a small strip or cube of pork fat — or bacon and usually cheese.
