  • THIS WAS MY YOUTH!!

This is a tribute to my personal beginning! I will never forget coming home from either kindergarten or 1st grade and watching Johnny Sokko and his Flying Robot. I was in heaven! The Japanese brought so much joy to my childhood in the form of this and Ultraman and Speed Racer! I loved them then, and I still do as a 52 year-old man! Thanks, iTunes.

I loved this as a kid. Occasionally it would get shown as a compilation of several episodes as a weekend movie titled, Voyage into Space". I would be glued to our 13 inch black & white TV, complete with antennas, UHF, and VHF dials. I still love this. It is the best of the early Japanese sci-fi. iTunes freaking rocks!

I have been looking for this show since the early 90's. I never saw the website, and certainly did not see it on iTunes or I would have bought it 5 years ago! Show your kids this, this show was a great inspiration when I was a youngster. Inspiration of courage, of technology, of cheesy effects that I enjoyed anyway!

I was actually surprised about Apple putting this one on iTunes. Good job APPLE! I hope that you could upload either Ultraman & Ultraseven, Giant Robo the Animated Series, or the 2004 Tetsujin 28 anime (either of these options could do, I guess). Keep up the good work Apple. :)

Being a five year old kid, you just don't realize how bad this show really was. And thats what makes it great!! Its hard to believe that there were budgets for men in rubber suits that went below the Ultraman franchise. Best things about the show: kids allowed to carry and shoot guns and the Miles Davis jazz soundtrack.
  • Simply the Best!!

My favorite show! After many bad copies from ebay, I now have the entire collection with great quality. All uncut episodes with the original Orion opening. Wow! Check out the Gargoyle Gang. These guys make the show, especially Piranha. He is the one with the goatee. Too bad he was never a Gargoyle commander!

AWESOME! I was randomly browsing the iTunes store and found myself here-it completely blew my mind! As most people here, as a kid, I used to watch this along with Ultraman on WDCA Channel 20 in DC! My best friend and I would play Ultraman and Giant Robot when we were kids. All I need to watch is a Jhoon Rhee taekwondo commercial during the breaks and I'll be transported back in time! For the others here that mentioned Star Blazers, it's another classic childhood favorite. Fortunately for me, I have the whole Season One DVD Box Set! I want the one with the Comet Empire though. We need Ultraman, Star Blazers and Marine Boy on iTunes!
