Description

In the Season Six finale, House, driven by the loss of a patient he treated at an accident site and confronted with the unexpected news that Cuddy was now engaged, spiraled into despair and considered treating his mental and emotional anguish with Vicodin, potentially prompting the cycle of his dependency and addiction all over again. But in a surprising turn, Cuddy revealed that she called off her engagement and admitted to House she loves him, despite wishing she didn’t. Also, Thirteen submitted her leave of absence from the hospital, prompting questions about the status of her health. As Season Seven begins, House and Cuddy attempt to make a real relationship work and face the question as to whether their new relationship will affect their ability to diagnose patients.

I REALLY LOVED THIS SEASON SO MUCH! When I first watched it I loved House but then Cuddy grew on me and I have a huge obsession with her. When I'm not watching House I feel like I'm missing them in person, I feel really upset. But watching when Cuddy broke up with him it was like someone stomped on my heart! I still love Cuddy so much, besides the fact I was crying for full out 3 days when she left the actual show. The only way I can bring her back is to watch every previous season. This season is amazing, but lets all just keep HUDDY living forever... <3 :'(

would you say music can be an integral part of a tv show… add emotion to scenes, make a great opening, etc - yes. of course! well how would you feel if you spent x amount of money to buy a season of a tv show, and then find out that in that version, they took out the opening music and other songs and just used generic music…. LAME

  • Nothing But A Skeleton ...

Latter half of season 7 marks the beginning of the skeleton of a former great show. Gregory House is no longer someone that I empathy over . His action in the season finale is inexcusable. Hugh Laurie is a brilliant actor as is RSL but so is Lisa E. Letting Lisa go is a huge mistake. The three actors made a perfect triangle now it is gone.

Not bad. Previous seasons have been better.
  • The failed Huddy Experiment

This is the problem with TV show formulas and the focus on the sexual tension between two central characters. "Everyone knows this is going somewhere." House and Cuddy. And when it did -- this season -- it essentially went nowhere. Well, it certainly almost killed the show. There were some engaging experiments this year, to be fair for a moment, but Huddy (I believe that's a common nickname used by fans) was a disaster. Is anyone really surprised that Ms. Edelstein is leaving the show? Perhaps it is possible to leave something open, unrequited/unconsummated. I must say that I enjoyed the return of 13 -- the best of the second batch of fellows -- even though it meant in exchange the departure of Masters (I really liked what Amber Tamblyn brought to the character, and what that character gave to the stories, her naivete and integrity -- an innocence that just doesn't exist otherwise in "House Land"). Oh yes, and I'll always miss Cameron, incidentally. Ok. I'm still a bit unsure about the experimental drug that House used and the resultant tumors, but the breakup did push the character in ways that brought back glimpses of the focused, melancholic lunatic that many (myself included) often found so endearing. I loved where Out of the Chute led, the hotel room scene with My Body Is A Cage as the soundtrack to House as he took to the hotel balcony, and his complete inability to feel anything that drove him to that point). It is a bit pathetic that the writers will be turning to Taub for comedy in the next season -- the imminent sort of juggling of mistress, ex-wife, and of course their babies. The pumping up of the soap opera elements of the show has always been tedious, particularly when the focus has been on Taub. Beyond that, it should be fun to see House return to NJ presumably to answer to criminal charges. Let the idiot defend himself, have the case thrown out citing an obscure precedent, fire EVERYONE, and run the dept. with the weird night janitor who wears his pants backwards. ;) It would probably be a reasonable start to erasing the missteps of Season 7!
