  • Excellent show marred by a weird release schedule

    NOVA is an institution in American lay science documentaries. I’ve been buying the volume packs because I want to be able to revisit them in the future. That said, what is up with the release of new episodes? Most shows come to iTunes the day after the broadcast. This show, however, takes WEEKS. The episode about Cassini still hadn’t dropped when the episode was on TV ten days ago. The previous episode about the eclipse took three weeks to release as well. While I still recommend iTunes as the place to get NOVA, PBS is behaving in a very unfair fashion, most likely to get people to subscribe to the pay app.
