Gargantia On the Verdurous Planet, The Complete Series (Original Japanese Version)

Randomly gave this anime a shot and ended up really liking the entire run! Characters, animation, story, environments are all interesting and very well done. Anime fans should definitely check it out.

A very enjoyable and entertaining show for anyone who likes anime especially mecha genre. Good cast of characters that grow through out the show with a satisfying conclusion, somethings you don't see in many current anime. If you are hesitant on buying check it out on crunchyroll, because it's something you don't want to miss.

This is a great show. This show is about a young soldier thrown out of place onto a planet that is far away from his civilization's war. As a product of war, and of the way his civilization thinks, he has to come to grips and learn about life, and how to live away from war, to become his own person and think for himself. A great adventure tale, full of character developement in unexpected places. This is an amazing 13 episode show. It is an adventure well worth your time and money to experience. And a new 2 part OVA is being released starting this fall!!!

One of the coolest shows I have seen in a while. Imaginative… But humble in a way. Treats the audience as if they are smart… And it wraps up the whole series in just 13 episodes. Jam packed, and one of my favorite shows I marathon this year!

So it starts out as your usual mecha v alien story but delves into a deeper show of a soldier out of place after events beyond his control. Makes you think about how and where a civilization can go and how'd they'd react to a species. Won't reveal the twist but should be able to pick up clues along the way before the reveal. Really a well done show.
