Description

Inspired by recent events in the world's economic collapse, Season 3 showcases DAMAGES signature legal-thriller storytelling as Patty Hewes (Glenn Close) takes on the Tobin family - a secretive clan determined to protect its interests at all costs. The Tobin family members have maintained their complete and total innocence. They claim not to have known anything about Louis Tobin's fraud. But Patty Hewes believes otherwise and will stop at nothing to prove it. Patty and her trusted lieutenant Tom Shayes (Tate Donovan) do battle against the Tobin family's trusted attorney Leonard Winstone (Martin Short), son Joe Tobin (Campbell Scott), and Louis Tobin's wife Marilyn (Lily Tomlin). Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) is quickly rising up the legal ranks at her new job. But life for Ellen gets much more complicated when her new boss begins investigating the Tobin case. Ellen realizes she may not have escaped Patty Hewes after all.

  • Does anyone know the artist that sings on the last episode of S3

In the last episode at the end of the credits in Season three, a female is singing a song that goes......Everybody knows when I am through with you. I looked at the credits and thought it would show the artist but it didn't. Does anyone know the name of the artist, I just love the song.

This series deserves a more well known spot in the television industry then it has. I've been watching the show for seasons 1 through 4, and so far none have been unsatisfying. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a drama with good writing, good acting, and good everything overall. I highly praise Glenn Close's acting the most. She is delivering one of the most charismatic characters in television.

I do not understand why has not been released yet for regular market, and why, in itunes has no close caption. Sometimes the legal terms on the show, are not understandable for all audience so it makes necessary look for it with close caption. When could that be available? Yes its is the best legal TV series I have seen, and will expect

FX didn't pick up the next 20 episodes. Direct TV did!
  • The third season is the weakest

Season 1 - 5 stars Season 2 - 4 stars Season 3 - 3 stars Martin Short is great The Ted Danson storyline in season 3 is weak and has no business wasting that many minutes of anyone's life. Apparently the finale was supposed to justify that much screen time. The all-star cast helped save some of the show but in the end none of the writing or storylines even held a candle to season one. The writing seemed to be desparately reaching to fill another whole season with riveting drama. The Law & Order approach to incorporating current events didn't hold up for a whole season. It feels more like the lazy screenwriters who take a successful movies from 25-50 years ago and rewrite it with a few plot twists because they are almost guaranteed to make money. A mediocre end to a show that had so much promise in the beginning.

I love this show. This season grasps your attention right from the first episode. The characters are complex and interesting. Outstanding performances. I would only put it behind "6 feet under" and may be "breaking bad".
